BKC owner New England Patriots #95 Tully Banta-Cain had a breakout season with a record 10 sacks.

This makes Banta-Cain the 7th Patriot to have 10 or more sacks in a season, and brought him to the 11th position on the NFL’s Top Sack List.

The New England Patriots will host the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday at Gillette Stadium to close New England’s only back-to-back home stand of the 2009 season. Last week, the Patriots beat the Falcons at home, 26-10, to extend their winning streak to 16-straight against NFC opponents.

Baltimore has never scored a touchdown in Foxborough after being held to a pair of field goals in a 20-3 loss at Foxboro Stadium in 1999 and a 24-3 loss in their first and only visit to Gillette Stadium in 2004.

This Sunday, Sept 27th, at 1pm, The Atlanta Falcons head up to New England to face Tully & the Patriots.  We have some great friends down in the ATL so this will be an exciting match up.

The 250-pound linebacker for the New England Patriots has done that many times and knows the pain of taking on the wedge.

“I’ve had my bell rung,” Banta-Cain said. “I’ve gotten up after a big collision and been like, ” ‘Wooo, shake it off.’ ”

This season, he and others in his dangerous position are getting help. The NFL is limiting the width of the wedge to help avoid such high-speed contact that can lead to concussions, broken bones and other injuries.

No longer can huge players form three- or four-man wedges, sometimes linking hands or arms, then head upfield and knock down potential tacklers like so many bowling pins. Now wedges can consist of no more than two men together, with the next closest player beside them at least 2 yards away.

Oh yes sir, the almight Patriots have won the opening game of the NFL season.  A tough match against the Bill’s but we came out on top.  Black Klown Clothier owner, Tully Banta-Cain, had 2 sacks including game winning sack and a few additional tackles to lead the defense to victory! Black Klown Clothier (& two-time Superbowl winner) owner Tully Banta-Cain starts his other job this thursday in the preseason kick off for the 2009 NFL season against the Philadelphia Eagles.
